Name (largest text), professional email, phone, city/state, portfolio URL. No objective statement. No full mailing address.
Education
Degree, institution, date. GPA if 3.0+. Relevant coursework (4-6). Thesis title if applicable. NAAB/LAAB accreditation noted.
Experience
Reverse chronological. Action verb + task + context + outcome. 2-4 bullets per position. Quantify everything you can.
Projects
2-4 strongest studio projects. Include scale, program, site, and your role. Flag competition entries or real-client work.
Skills
Organized by category. Only tools you can use professionally. Most relevant tools first. Include GIS for landscape architecture roles.
Activities
AIAS, ASLA, NOMAS, competitions, community design-build, teaching. Keep brief, 4 to 8 lines maximum.
THE GOLDEN RULE: Every line on your resume should answer one question. Does this prove I can contribute to this firm from day one? If it does not, cut it or rewrite it.
